Just yesterday I bought A Tascam guitar trainer through Guitar Center =
(Musician's Friend has them for $149) for my guitar. It also works with =
a mic. You can slow it down with or without altering the pitch or just =
lower the key by itself 6 semi-tones. The main drawbacks are that you it =
operate with headphones only (no external speaker), you cannot pan left =
or right, and the directions are very difficult to follow. Once you =
figure the directions out it works fine.=20
I did not know about the Superscope until today...I think that you can =
pan left and right...... important if you have practice cd's with =
instrument and vocals which you can remove by panning. The Superscope =
is $2-250 more expensive so it depends on how important the extra =
features are to you. At this point I may or may not take my Tascam back. =
Anyway...you can check Musician's friend for all the features and make =
your own decision. Anybody else have an opinion? =20
